AL KASSM Mining (“AKM” or “Company”) is a private Tunisian-based mining company founded in 2018.
The company was founded by Ahmed Bouchamaoui, who is a 3rd generation
member of a well-known industrialist family in Tunisia which has built multiple
businesses in civil construction, petroleum infrastructure, petroleum exploration,
agriculture, education and real estate (family business website:bouchamaoui.net).
As earth moving has been a key component in nearly all of Bouchamaoui’s
businesses, Ahmed decided that mining would be a logical extension of their
existing businesses.
